Long-term 2-years Visa / Temporary Residence permit process details
The best and the most efficient way to get a long-term (immigration, residence) visa and residence permit in Ukraine is the visa for employment (D-04).
This means that you will employ yourself as a founder of your own company and will get an opportunity to stay in Ukraine on a legal basis for 2 years with no limitation in time.
This type of visa can be used if you have independent source of income (online or regular business, freelance) or you just want to retire in Ukraine
- STEP #1
To start with this type of visa remotely (from your home country) you need to send us a scanned copy of your passport at our email info@uaresidency.com.
We will send you back a ready-made template of the power of attorney (PoA) for the certification in the notary office and putting apostille.
- STEP #2
At your home country (or Ukraine) go to the notary office and notarised your signature at the power of attorney (PoA). Then ask your notary how to put the apostille on this document (some notaries are allowed to do this process or you need to go to your local government authority).
Then send us a scan copy of notarized and apostilized PoA.
- STEP #3
If all is okay with your documents we will send you first payment request for the 1000$ instalment. You will need to pay the invoice and will do all job for you.
Namely, we will:
– translate to Ukrainian language your PoA and notarise in Ukraine;
– translate to Ukrainian language your passport and notarise it in Ukraine;
– get a personal tax ID number for you in Ukraine;
– incorporate for you a company in a form of LLC;
– offer a temporary local address for the registered office of your company;
– offer a citizen (resident) of Ukraine to be a temporary director of your company (before you will travel to Ukraine).
- STEP #4
Sending you all documents proving that your company is formed and requesting another funds (1000$) for getting your work permit.
After receipt of money we will:
– get a 2-years work permit for you as a future director of the company;
– get a notary copy of the work permit;
– issue a business invitation from the current director of the company;
– ship to your home country by express main shipping service all documents needed for you to apply and get in Ukrainian embassy a visa D-04.
- STEP #5
You will need to apply for a visa D-04 at Ukrainian embassy in your home country.
Only after you will get visa D-04 (usually it is issued for 90 days) you will need to travel to Ukraine.
Please arrange the visit to Ukraine as soon as you will get your visa approved.
- STEP #6
After your visit to Ukrain we will close the last payment in amount of 800$ and will do further:
– get for you a medical insurance for 2 years;
– get your passport translated to Ukrainian language with a proof of border crossing;
– apply for a 3 years residence permit/TRP (temporary residence card);
– register your address of living in Ukraine.
The whole process can take from 2 to 4 months depending mostly on your side.
Total cost shall not exceed 2800$ (including all costs: state fees, notary fees, our service fees and work permit state fee over 460$).
This amount doesn’t include your visa application cost in your home country, cost of travel, cost of living in Ukraine before getting TRP.
Payment is made in instalments – 1000$ for company formation, after we will provide you proves that you already have a company in Ukraine we will require another payment 1000$ for the work permit for 2 years. Company registration and getting a work permit will be done in 2-3 weeks.
After the work permit is done we will ship it to your address by DHL. Then you need to apply for visa D-04 and visit Ukraine, after arrival, you will pay the last 800$ and we will apply for 2 years temporary residence permit (card) that will allow you to stay and visit Ukraine without a visa (like a Ukrainian citizen).
