Citizenship by Descent $1,800

Ukrainian grandparents or great-grandparents? You may already qualify for citizenship.

Since the law changed in January 2026, foreigners with a Ukrainian-born grandparent or great-grandparent can reclaim Ukrainian citizenship, in many cases while keeping their current citizenship if it's on the approved dual-citizenship list. We check your eligibility, handle the archive request, and if there are no surviving records we take the case to court or apply for foreign Ukrainian status instead. Full process $1,800: $100 for the eligibility check and first archive request, $1,700 for everything through to the passport. If you'd rather not sit the language and history exam, an immigration permit is also available.

Transparent pricing, always.

Every price on this page is the full cost, not a starting quote you'll renegotiate later. Government fees, notary costs, and translations are included from the start. Most legal providers in Ukraine don't work this way, and it's the single biggest complaint we hear from foreigners before they find us.
